Pen to Paper

It's day 201 and I attended my very first workshop led by show runner Emily Andras.

If you don't know who she is you need to watch Wynonna Earp. It's an amazing series on the Syfy Network. I'm a HUGE fan of just about every aspect, from the woman power characters to the positive representation of the LGBTQI+ community. I could go on and on but you be the judge. Season 1 is on netflix. Watch it.

My afternoon was all about writing, pitching and writing some more. It's what you'd expect from a workshop but this was special for me. The energy was incredible and the information was invaluable. I respect the honest attitude toward teaching the room of writers that collaboration requires humility and compromise.

As experiences go day 201 was a dream come to life.
