Angels and butterflies

I've got these amazing beings in my life who give me great joy. Today I got to spend time with one of them who taught me how to build angels and butterflies with a computer.

On the 190th day I learned how to 3D print.

In an undisclosed location we scanned into the computer lab. This super high-tech environment had rainbow spools of material in a cabinet filled with exciting supplies.

The technology involved looks intimidating and I wouldn't want to have to service it but my hands were

twitching with excitement. Technology and I are best friends and I have wanted to do this for a very long time.

I found an angel template on thingaverse.com that I thought would be perfect.

The project file was loaded into the software program. A few mouse clicks and adjustments were made and 15 minutes later we had a little angel. You will never understand how satisfying it is to 3D print until you actually do it. We printed a rainbow of angels and also added some butterflies. Such sweet little delicate things were printed from plastic the diameter of weed trimmer line.

This is freaking cool!!

Day 190 was an amazing boost of techno energy.
